AUBURN-Anna L. (Miller) Shea, 82, of 20 Thayer Ave. died Monday, Dec. 30 in the St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, Worcester after being stricken ill at home.
Her husband of 50 years, Patrick R. Shea died in 1996.
She leaves her son, John F. Shea of Auburn; two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and a great grandson. Her sister, Barbara Sutcliff predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of late John and Katherine C. (Stewart) Miller and lived in Auburn for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Shea worked as a nurses aide at the St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for 20 years before she retired in 1981. Previously, she had worked for the Reed & Prince Company, Worcester.She was a member of North American Martyrs Parish and was active at the Auburn Senior Center for many years.
A committal service will be held on Friday, Jan. 3 at 10 AM in the chapel of the Notre Dame Musoleum, 162 Webster St., Worcester. Entombment in will follow.Calling hours are private.
