Obituary

WEBSTER– Joseph A. “Ski” Siekierski, 73, formerly of Village Way, died Tuesday, October 23 in Memorial Hospital, Worcester. His wife of 18 years, Noella C. (Duteau) Siekierski, died in 1973.

He leaves a son and his wife, Stephen J. and Cindy M. Siekierski; a daughter and her husband, Caroline R. and Darryl J. Peck all of Dudley; 3 brothers, Edward Siekierski of Southbridge, Raymond Siekierski of North Grosvenordale and Sylvester Siekierski, Jr., of Webster; 3 sisters, Alice Tucker of Dudley, Anna Gardner of Webster and Carol Ciabaszewski of Dudley; 2 grandchildren Danielle and Bryan Siekierski both of Dudley. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Paul Siekierski and 2 brothers, Adolph and Frank Siekierski.

He was born in Dudley, a son of Sylvester and Caroline (Kudron) Siekierski, Sr. and lived in the Webster-Dudley area his whole life.

Mr. Siekierski worked as a machinist with the Rex Chain Belt Company in Worcester for many years before retiring. He was a former member of the Webster Auxiliary Police and a former National Guardsman. He also enjoyed fishing and electronic repairs.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 27, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be held Friday, October 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
