Candelario A. Simeone, of Quincy, died Tuesday at Quincy Medical Center. He was 76.
Born and raised near Rome, Italy,he was the son of the late Alfredo and the late Assunta (Calazzo) Simeone. As a young man Candelario joined his family in Argentina and stayed there for 20 years. He later came to the United States and settled in the Boston area. He lived in Quincy for many years. He worked as a clerk with Martignetti Bros. Liquors in Boston for many years, before retiring.
He leaves his beloved wife Caterina (Ciampa) Simeone. He also leaves his brothers and sisters in Argentina and the many members of Caterina’s family.
A funeral Service will be conducted Friday, October 26th at 10 AM in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 175 Broadway, Malden, with Rev. Paul Flammia, presiding.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924.
