Manchester– Iritha Buissereth,77, died October 11, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Haiti on December 31, 1929 the daughter of George and Susan (Jaocotin) Buissereth.
Prior to moving to Manchester she was a cook and loved to teach others how to cook in Haiti.
She was always volunteering within the Haitian community in Manchester.
She was predeceased by a daughter Mireille Micourt in 1988, and a son Gerald Eugene in 1994.
Family members include two daughters Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Casseus, and Guerline Eugene both of Manchester, 9 grandchildren, and 3 greatgrandchildren.
In Her Life: She was very fond of her son in law Lauma Lubin, of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10 am in the Lutheran Church Building, 65 Sagamore St. .Pastor Renand Dumont officiating. Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
