Obituary

Roy C. Wandland, 79, died Monday, October 15 at the Hospice of
Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
His wife of 46 years Rhoda (Audette) Wandland, died in 2005.
He leaves a son, Klaes and his wife June of Kettering, Ohio, with whom he
lived with for the past two years, two daughters; Claudia and her husband,
Larry Forgit of North Brookfield, Susan and her husband Edward Plant of
Norton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He
is pre-deceased by two brothers and four sisters.
Born in Holden, he was the son of Klaes and Alice (Anderson) Wandland and
graduated from Holden High School in 1946. He was employed by Norton Company
of Worcester for 43 years before retiring in 1989. He was a Mason, and a
member of the Hayden Lodge in East Brookfield.
A calling hour will held on Friday, October 19 from 9-10 a.m. in the J.
HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial with a
graveside service will follow in Grove Cemetery, Holden. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be made to the Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147,
Spencer, MA. 01562.
