Antonio Fiumara, of Bridgewater, Oct. 14, formerly of Brockton, 89 years old, beloved husband of Carmella (Calabrese) Fiumara; dear father of Rocco Fiumara and his wife Elaine of Hanson, Dominic Fiumara of Raleigh, N.C.; loving grandfather of Anthony Fiumara of Hanson; brother of Frank Fiumara of Philadelphia and Beatrice Gardella of Tilton, N.J. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Marshfield, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
A Visiting hour will precede the Mass at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. (Rte. 139), Marshfield, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Veteran U.S. Army World War II,
Mr. Fiumara received the EAME Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was a former employee of Luizzi Shoe Co., Brockton, and the former foreman of Cape Cod Originals.
