Anna (Pacheco) Fernandes, 53, of 554 Joseph Dr. Fall River, died October 16, 2007 at home. She was the beloved wife of Fernando Fernandes. Born in Santa Maria, Azores, the daughter of Alfredo C. & the late Felicidade (Resendes) Pacheco. Step-daughter of Maria (Raposo) dos Reis. Before retiring, she had worked for A.J. Wright & previously for Lexcraft as a Machine Operator. She was a devoted parishioner of Espirito Santo Church where she served as a C.C.D. Teacher, Eucharistic Minister, Catholic Charities Appeal, & a member of its St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was also a member of U.N.I.T.E. & enjoyed dancing & camping.
Besides her husband, father, & Step-mother all of Fall River, she is survived by 3 Children: Kevin P. & Christopher P. Fernandes, & Susanne F. & husband Eric Worsley all of Fall River. 2 Grandchildren: Keith & Meadow Ann Worsley. 4 Brothers: Manuel R. Pacheco of Somerset, Antonio R. Pacheco of Fall River, Alfredo R. Pacheco of Dighton, & Eduardo R. Pacheco of Fall River. 2 Sisters: Maria da Gloria De Jesus of Pawtucket, RI & Maria da Fatima De Mello of Montreal, Canada. Several Nieces & Nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Friday at 8:00 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday 5-9 P.M.
