Glencliff-Daniel McGuinness, 63, of 393 High Street died Monday morning, October 15, 2007 at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, New Hampshire.
Daniel was born in Torrington, Connecticut on March 12, 1944, the son of the late John J. and Lucy (Bryant) McGuinness, Sr. He had been a resident of Glencliff Home For The Elderly for the past 2 months. During his life he had been a resident of the Lakes Region under the auspices of Lakes Region Community Services Council.
Daniel will be fondly remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, and always looking for a “High-5”.
In addition to his parents Daniel was predeceased by his brother, John J. McGuinness, Jr. in 1978.
Daniel is survived by a sister-in-law, Sally H. Doten and her husband Dennis of Gilford; a niece, Paige Sturgeon and her husband Edward of Moultonboro; a nephew, Daniel McGuinness and his wife Michelle of Columbia, MD. Two grandnieces and two grandnephews also survive Daniel.
Funeral Services were Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia. Burial followed in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Belknap Mountain Road, Gilford.
