Mrs. Rose Adelia Sutherland, an 81 year resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Robert T. Sutherland, died unexpectedly at her home in Medford on October 13, 2007. She was 91 years old.
Born in Rumford, Maine, on January 18, 1916, she was a beloved daughter of the late Leroy J. and Gladys O. (Hodsdon) Rundlett. Mrs. Sutherland was a member of the Eastern Starr and a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Medford.
She will be sorely missed by her loving children; Jean R. Engel of Stoneham, Linda M. and her husband Lawrence D. Warner of Lexington and Janet L. Sutherland of Medford, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral service was celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Many relatives and friends were in attendance.
