Grant F. “Stiffy” Stiffler, 65, of Somerville, MA, died, suddenly, Thursday in the Somerville Hospital Somerville, MA.
Born in Nanty-glo, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and the late Fannie (Dunlap) Stiffler. After several years of service in the United States Navy, Stiffy settled in Somerville and married Louise De Luca.
He worked for several years at Stattler Tissue in Medford, Bradford Novelty in South Boston and for many years in maintenance at Hewlett-Packard in Burlington and Andover. He was retired for two years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Louise; a daughter Louise Marshall and one son, Edward Stiffler.
He also leaves four loving grandchildren: Joseph and Samantha Marshall and Daniel and Bradley Stiffler.
He was the brother of Betty Hullihen, Harry, Carl, and Melvin Stiffler; and the late Becky, Earl, Robert, and John Stiffler
His funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Relatives and friends may visit Monday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
