REVERE, MA – James J. Calnan age 61 died Sunday October 14, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Brockton, MA. He was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Calnan.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, he graduated Lawrence High School with the Class of 1963 and also Merrimack College in 1967. During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. For 30 years he was an inspector with the USDA Office in Chelsea, MA.
He leaves his sister Kathleen J. Grealish and her husband Michael P. of Braintree, MA.
1 nephew Michael J. Grealish of Cohasset, MA
1 niece Maureen A. White of Quincy, MA.
ARRANGMENTS: At the request of the family there are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine Chapel 128 Ames Street Lawrence, MA. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery also in Lawrence, MA.
