Stanley C. Lawson, Jr. 69, died Friday October 12th. He was the former husband of Patricia A. (Solomon) Lawson of Plympton.
Born in Brockton he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Doris I. (Sanders) Lawson.
He was a life long resident of Abington, and attended Abington Schools.
Mr. Lawson worker for over 35 years as a shipper and receiver for Alden Products of Brockton and was a member of the 49ers Club of Bridgewater for over 40 years, as well as a member of the Sons of Italy in Rockland for 10 years.
In addition to his former wife he is survived by his children, Cheryl Force of Abington, Sheila Lawson of Wareham, Charles Lawson of Plympton, Stanley Lawson III of Taunton, Irene Campbell of Bridgewater, and Joseph Lawson of Abington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday October 17th in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte 58 @ the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday October 16th from 4:00-8:00 PM.
