Rose L. (Boucher) Wallace, age 85, died Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Westford Genesis House after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Wallace.
She was born in Greenville, NH on April 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Harvey and Rose (Ouimette) Boucher. Mrs. Wallace was a lifelong resident of Lowell and attended St. Anne's Episcopal Church.
Before her retirement, she was employed as a stitcher with Lowell Lingerie Co., in Lowell for 20 years. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by many close friends including Helen Paquette and Lorraine Bergeron, both of Lowell, and her five adopted grandchildren, Joey, Corie, Jonathan, Danny and Charlie Paquette.
At her request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a prayer service on Tuesday morning, Oct. 16 at 11 o'clock at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell. Interment will follow at Edson Cemetery.
