Mrs. Concetta R. Federico, age 81, of Medford formerly of Boston´s North End, died October 11th at the Sinai Rehabilitation Center in Boston following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Federico. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Antonetta (Folino) Vigna.
Mrs. Federico was retired from the J. L. Hammett Co. of Boston where she worked for over twenty years in the Customer Service Dept. Mostly devoted to her family, she enjoyed cooking for and being with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed her many friends and neighbors and was very active in her local neighborhood affairs.
In addition to her late husband, Mrs. Federico is predeceased by her sister, Mary D’Ambrosio, and her brothers Frank and Sam Vigna. She is survived by her daughters, Annette Simpson of Barrington, NH, Donna Ramirez of Chelsea, Diane Fraioli and her husband Richard of Haverhill. She was the loving grandmother of Rebekah, Michael, Kristen, Richard, Jeremy, Bobby and Derek and was the loving great grandmother of Ethan and Aiden. She is also survived by her brother Vincent “Jim” Vigna of Peabody and is further survived by son-in-laws Benito Ramirez and Michael Simpson, her cousin Marie Perry of Hull and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
