Brian L. Walter, 46, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in Lowell, MA. He was born in Wooster, OH on November 9, 1960, a son of the late Eric W. and Jean M. (Betz) Walter. Brian graduated from Wooster High School and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Boston University in Physics and Astronomy as his major, with a minor in Computer Science in 1983. He met his wife while at BU in 1981 and they were married in 1991. They settled in NH and were two-year residents of Derry, formerly living in Nashua, NH. Mr. Walter was a computer software engineer and he enjoyed gardening and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kim Takita of Derry, a brother, Eric Walter of Glenwood Springs, CO, a sister, Kathy Thompson of Colorado and also by a nephew, Jared Walter.
A calling hour was held from 10-11am on Monday, October 15, 2007 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with a funeral service at 11:00am in the funeral home.
