William A. Brown, 95, of Orlando (formerly of Fitzgerald), died Friday, October 5, at Orlando Regional Lucerne Medical Center in Orlando, Florida.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 13, at Luke Cemetery in Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9, Friday evening at Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Brown was born December 14, 1911, in Abba, Georgia, to the late Alec and Ada Luke Brown. He lived in Orlando, Florida since the early 1950’s and was a former resident of Fitzgerald. Mr. Brown retired after seventeen years from the city of Orlando as an engineer for the street and sanitation department. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include: niece, Frances Hewett Capshaw; great niece, Sharon Darling; great nephew, William Hewett, all of Orlando and several great great nieces and nephews.
