Obituary

Beatrice M. Bergeron, 84, of Front St., Woonsocket, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the former wife of the late George T. Bergeron, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Moreau) Picard. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life.
Mrs. Bergeron worked for several area textile mills and was a homemaker for many years.
Beatrice was a member of the Crepeau Court Seniors Club, and she enjoyed reading and knitting.
She is survived by two sons, George T. Bergeron, Jr., of Charlotte, North Carolina, and James J. Bergeron, of Westborough, MA, two daughters, Nancy Dargis, of North Attleboro, and Anita Poirier, of Woonsocket. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis, Leo, George, and Normand Picard, and Aldea Connolly, Ella Gaudreau, and Rita Bergeron.
Her funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 am in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Rathbun St., Woonsocket.
