WORCESTER-Joanne W. (Donnelly) Hallahan, 68, of Worcester, died Tuesday, October 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband of 22 years William B. Hallahan; several cousins, including Winifred J. Bouley of Spencer, Margaret Shivick of Rochdale and Kathleen Cushing of Dudley; 2 god-daughters, Colleen (Bouley) Lusignan of North Brookfield and Sharon (Joslin) Trigiano of Auburn.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of William E. and Marguerite E. (Kane) Donnelly. Mrs. Hallahan was a graduate of St Peter’s and a member of the St. Peter’s 50th High School Reunion Committee and attended the reunion last Saturday. She attended Fitchburg State College and had worked as a dietician for 32 years at the former Worcester City Hospital retiring in 1991. Joanne was an avid photographer and enjoyed travel, especially to Ireland.
The funeral is Friday, October 12th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, October 11th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
