Frank Craighill Mills, 61, of Irwin County died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Saint Anne's Episcopal Church. Father Ron Davidson will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Mills was born on February 12, 1946 in Albany and was the son of Luther Rice Mills, III and Elizabeth Craighill Mills, both deceased. He was retired from Kelley Manufacturing Company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 2005. He was a member of Saint Anne's Episcopal Church and a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1969.
Mr. Mills is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Glenn Mills of Irwin County; one brother, Luther Rice Mills, IV of Thomasville; and one sister, Mary Mills Thomason of North Augusta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
