Mildred Elizabeth (Cotter) Lucker, 96, formerly of Mystic, passed away Sunday at Manchester Manor.
Mrs. Lucker was born in Scotland, CT on September 19, 1911 the daughter of William and Bridget Hourihane Cotter.
She enjoyed a 31 year Civil Service career, first with the Public Housing Administration in Groton, and later with the Civilian Personnel Office as a Personnel Specialist at the US SubBase in Groton before her retirement in 1973.
A resident of the Mystic area since 1941, she was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Mystic and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Her husband, Adolph J. Lucker died on July 19, 1984. Mrs. Lucker is survived by a niece, Janet Barrett of Manchester CT and two nephews, John and Brian Breen both of Santa Fe, NM, and several grand nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, E. Main Street, Mystic on Friday at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stonington. There are no visiting hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
