Husband of the late Grace (Ashenden) Regan. Loving father of Grace Joyce of FL, Alice Teehan, Walter F. Regan, Jr., both of Hull, Richard Regan of NH, Janice Regan of NY, Christine Regan of Somerville, John Regan, Diane Castrini, both of Quincy, and the late Patricia Colameco. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Friday at 10:30 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
Walter has been a resident of Hingham for the last 15 years. Previously, he resided in Hull. After graduating from high school, he began his longtime career with the railroad in the early 1930's as a fireman and retired 43 years later as an engineer. During WWII, Walter served in the U.S. Army. After retirement, Walter enjoyed traveling and working around his home.
