WEBSTER – Theresa E. “Terry” (Daniels) Gignac, 68, of 152 North Main Street, died Saturday, October 6, at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Lawrence T. “Bonhomme” Gignac; a daughter, Kimberly A., wife of Gary Baldyga of Webster; 3 sisters, Constance “Connie” Malboeuf, Rita, wife of Frank “Tuffy” Sokolowski, and Ruth “Putsie,” wife of John Hughes, all of Webster; nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog “Grizzly.” She was preceded in death by her sister Jane Dardeen and her brothers Roger and Robert Daniels.
She was born in Framingham and raised in Webster, the sixth child of Benjamin and Ruth (Bigget) Daniels, and was a life long resident.
Mrs. Gignac worked at Sandlerette Shoe Company. She then was a spinner at Anglo Fabrics Company before retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She volunteered to help out at the Booster Athletic Club.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 15, in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to either St. Anne’s Elementary School, 12 Day Street, PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818, or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
