Beverly E. (Lewin) Clary, 74, of Mansfield died on Monday October 8, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She was the beloved wife for the past 49 years of John W. Clary.
Born in Boston, MA on October 12, 1932 she was a dear daughter of the late Paul A. and Edith V. (Steeves) Lewin.
She grew up in Dedham and was educated in Dedham schools. Mrs. Clary served her family as a dedicated homemaker and when younger had worked in food service at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Beverly was a member of the First Christian Church in West Mansfield and was also active with the Mission Circle at the church.
In addition to the wonderful times spent with her loving family she enjoyed knitting, shopping, trips to Foxwoods and she would often help her neighbors with babysitting. Beverly had a special love for animals, especially dogs. She had made her home in Mansfield for over 40 years.
In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her devoted children Shirley R. Byron and her husband Jeffrey of Pinehurst, North Carolina and John P. Clary and his wife Debbi of Hyde Park. She was the sister of Shirley Sullivan of South Attleboro and was the cherished grandmother of Shannon, Timothy, Daniel and Jack.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday October 12th at 10:00 A.M. in the First Christian Church 13 Otis Street West Mansfield. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday October 11th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
