Jack Rollow Carpenter, Jr. Jack Rollow Carpenter, Jr., 85, Clarksville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2pm Monday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8 pm Sunday and from noon till the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. He was born May 23, 1922 in Montgomery County,son of Jack Rollow Carpenter,Sr. and Ollie Williams Carpenter.He is preceded in death by his parents,three brothers Frank Carpenter, James Carpenter, David Carpenter and one sister Carlene Savage. He was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ.He was a veteran having served during WWII. and a retired tool&die machinist for Trane Company after 30 years. He is survived by his wife Joyce Hanes Carpenter of Clarksville and two sons Bill(Paula) Carpenter of Fairview, TN, Rollow(Ann) Carpenter of Gallatin,one daughter Nancy (Mark) Hawkins of Clarksville, two stepsons Billy Hartsock of Moline, IL, Kevin Hartsock of Primm Springs, TN, one stepdaughter Paula Concialdi of Clarksville and eight grandchildren.
