WORCESTER: Eileen T (Turnbull) Hickey 87 formerly of 33 Pleasant Valley Drive, died December 24th in Radius Healthcare 119 Providence Street.
Her husband Joseph J Hickey died in 1976. She is survived by a sister Olive Cunningham of Auburn, nieces and nephews.Born in Worcester she was a daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Spottswood) Turnbull and lived in Miami Florida for ten years, Westerly Rhode Island for twenty years, returning to Worcester in 1985.
She was a graduate of North High School, and later worked for eleven years as a clerk at The Pleasant View Hotel, Misquamicut Rhode Island prior to retiring in 1985.Mrs. Hickey was a member of Saint Stephens Parish, and The AARP.
The funeral will be held Friday December 27th with a service at 10 a.m. in Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday prior to the service.
