Joseph P. Halloran, 67, of Lawrence died Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at the
Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Joe was a life long resident and a graduate of Lawrence High School. He was the son of the late Arthur and Helen ( Casey ) Halloran.
Joe was employed for over 40 years as an equipment installer with Verizon.
Mr. Halloran served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Lawrence Elks, Pioneers of America, Lawrence Airport Commission, secretary for the Lawrence British Club and a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela A. (Foley) Halloran of Lawrence, one son Joseph P. Jr. and his wife Kimberley of Haverhill, two daughters, Katherine H. and her husband Eric Zahn of Lawrence, and Heather H. and her husband Kevin Dolan of North Andover. Joseph leaves three sisters, Cornelia Dow of Florida, Maryellen Chaisson of Methuen and Susan Halloran of Haverhill, two brothers, Arthur N. Halloran, Jr. of Lawrence and Richard F. Halloran of Salem, NH and his five grandchildren, Haley Zahn, Cullen and Teagan Dolan, and William and Margaret Halloran and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sister, Catherine Kelley, James,
F. Laurence, Francis and William Halloran.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in South Lawrence. Burial to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
