Obituary

Stephen A. Rudinsky, 88 of 145 Pine St. died December 26, 2002 in the Genesis Eldercare Network Center in Laconia. He was born in Boston MA on November 3, 1914, the son of Joseph and Anna (Doujotaiti) Rudinsky and resided in Laconia most of his life.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as a machinist at Baron Machine Co. for more than 30 years. He had previously been employed at the former Scott & William Co. and had served as a police officer for the city of Laconia.

He was a communicant of Sacred Heart parish. Mr. Rudinsky was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Doris (Dickson) Rudinsky in 1990 and a stepson, Thomas Dickson in 1989.

Family members include a daughter, Barbara Palombo of Plymouth MA; eight grandchildren, Jay Dickson of Texas, Robin Baron of Gilford, Lori Dickson of Gilford, Michael Dickson of Conn., Tracy Dickson of Waltham MA, Deana Palombo of Weymouth MA, Mark Palombo of Plymouth MA and Lynne Palombo of Portland Oregon; and many great grandchildren.

Calling hours were in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. on Sunday from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. on Monday at 11:30 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps, Pastor was the celebrant. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Timothy C. Molan and David L. Furber are the funeral directors.
