R. Allan Collette, 45, of 82 Sheridan St. died in his residence December 19, 2002 after a sudden illness. He was born in Laconia on July 24, 1957, the son of Raymond A. Collette and the late Avila Ann (Gendron) Simonds.
He was raised in Canterbury and attended local schools. Mr. Collette served in the U.S. Army. He was employed for more than twenty years in the family business, Collette Logging.
Family members include three children, Sonya, Dustin and Raymond; his father, Raymond A. Collette of Laconia; a brother, Paul S. Collette of Belmont and a nephew, Michael Collette of Laconia.
A memorial reception was held in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St. on Monday from 7 to 9 PM. Private urn burial will be held in the spring in St. Lambert Cemetery.
