Louis Marshbanks Louis Marshbanks, 68, Clarksville, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 30, 2007, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10 am Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and from 11 am to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Montgomery County September 1, 1939 son of Laymon Marshbanks and Loreda Lewis Marshbanks. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. He was the First Fire Inspector for the Clarksville Fire Department. He was one of the founders of the Clarksville Dream Factory and Camp Rainbow. He was director of Camp Rainbow for one year. Survivors include his mother Loreda Marshbanks; his spouse, Ann Marshbanks; son Eddie Marshbanks (Lisa); daughter Rita Faye Knight (Ricky); grandchildren, Brittany Akin, Barbie Holder (Shaun), J. R. Knight, Justin Bryant and Rylee Ann Marshbanks; and great-grandchildren Sydney and Evan Holder. Pallbearers will be Davis McCutchen, Harold Pittman, Don Dority, Dwight Dickson, C.W. Stokes, Larry McGavick, Eugene Lewis, Houston Ellis, and Johnny Golson. Honorary pallbearers will be Clarksville High School Class of 1957 and members of Dwight Dickson's Sunday School Class.
