Mary F. (McIntyre) Muldoon, 93, of New Bedford died September 30, 2007 at home after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Muldoon.
Born in Arlington, MA, the daughter of the late Edward K. and Margaret A. (Meehan) McIntyre, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Muldoon was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
She was formerly employed as a sales clerk at Arlan's Department Store for many years until retirement.
Mrs. Muldoon was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1931. She enjoyed participating in various exercising programs at the YMCA several years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances E. Muldoon of New Bedford; a son, Thomas P. Muldoon, Jr., and his wife Mary B., of New Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Jeannine D. Muldoon of South Amherst, MA; 2 sisters, Helen M. McIntyre and Edith C. McIntyre, both of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late James M. Muldoon and sister of the late Edward K. McIntyre and Mark H. McIntyre.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, October 3rd at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, October 2nd from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
