Obituary

Filomena “Fannie” Seminara, died at the Courtyard Nursing Center of Medford after a extended illness, she was Ninety-one years old.

Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Rosaria (Potente) and John B. Seminara. She was origianly from the South End of Boston before setteling in Medford some thirty years ago. She woked for many years as the secretary for the Italian Steamship Line and she was dedicated to her faith, as a active parishoner at the Sacred Heart Church of Medford.

Surviving are he sisters; Eleanor DeMarco of Brockton and Jean DeLuca of Medford.She was predeceased by three brothers; James V., Antonio and Frank Seminara, three sisters; Mary Avola, Theresa Bertolino and Rose Malegieri. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, December 30 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Winthrop St. Medford at 10. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.Visitng hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
