WEBSTER – Alice A. (Guay) Morus, 69, formerly of Webster, died Wednesday, Sept. 26 in South Shore Hospital, Weymouth. Her husband, Anthony Morus, died in 1988.
She leaves several cousins.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Szczepaniak) Guay, and lived here most of her life before moving to Medford, Norwood and Weymouth.
Mrs. Morus was a lens inspector in the quality control department at the American Optical Company in Southbridge. She then worked at Spedcor Electronics in Southbridge and F.W. Woolworth Company in Webster before retiring.
She was a former member of St. Joseph Basilica.
The funeral will be held Monday, October 1, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 9:30 Monday, October 1, in the funeral home.
