Jacky Willard Renew, 64, of Adel died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jack Perrin will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Renew was born on March 26, 1943 in Tift County and was the son of Pressley Jackson "Pete" Renew and Betty Purvis Renew, both deceased. He was a livestock dealer and of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Renew is survived by his wife, Judith Lamb Renew of Adel; one son and daughter-in-law, Pressley Jackson "Pete" Renew and his wife, Deena, of Tifton; one brother, Roy Renew of Sumner; one sister, Betty Jean Renew Ledford of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Lauren Taylor of Tifton and Evan Connor of Tifton.
