James A. Ford, age 57 formerly of 1590 Somerset Ave., Dighton. Son of the late James & Rita (Frank) Ford. Passed away Sept.26, 2007. Born in Fall River but a Dighton resident for most of his life. He was a member of St. Peter Church in Dighton, an avid golfer & fisherman & pocket pool player. He was a Mechanic for the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics working on nuclear submarines.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Valerie Ford of NY, NY & Holly Ford of New London, Ct. 3 Grandchildren: Antonio, Jared & Tasia. Several nieces & nephews including Niece Christine Rice.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. SATURDAY at 7:45 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Peter Church, Main St., Dighton at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 5-8 P.M.
