Obituary

Carmine “Chuck” Lorusso III, 55, of Norfolk, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday September 25, 2007. He was the husband of Deirdre A. (Halligan) Lorusso.
Born in Norwood, October 4, 1951 a son of Carmine Lorusso Jr. and Concetta (Marzuolo) Lorusso of Norfolk, he lived in Norfolk for most of his life.
He was educated in Norfolk and Wrentham, and was a 1969 graduate of King Philip High School. He also attended and graduated from Roger Williams College in Providence class of 1973.
Mr. Lorusso was employed as a home builder in the family contracting business Lorusso Brothers Construction Inc. of Franklin.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks #1036, and was a communicant of St. Jude Church in Norfolk.
He enjoyed spending his time with his family, and was an accomplished singer who loved to entertain people. He also enjoyed golf and traveling.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are 3 sons Carmine Lorusso IV of Cranston, RI, Michael Lorusso and Timothy Lorusso of Norfolk, 2 stepchildren Wendy Bobiak of Seekonk, and Jason Theroux of Providence, 4 brothers Anthony Lorusso and his wife Joan of Norfolk, David Lorusso and his wife Kathy of Cedar Rapids, Texas, Richard Lorusso of Wrentham, and Gerald Lorusso and his wife Marianne of Franklin, 2 sisters Linda King and her husband Greg of Norfolk and Concetta Marcotte and her husband Bob of Norfolk and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late John Lorusso, who died in 2005.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 9:15am from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Jude Church 86 Main Street Norfolk at 10am. Interment is private.
Calling hours are Friday September 28, 2007 from 4-8PM.
