Obituary




Worcester – Gordon J. St. Amand, 63, of Worcester passed away, Tuesday, September 25 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife Connie (Milionis) St. Amand; a son Jason M. St. Amand; a brother Edmond St. Amand Jr.; a sister-in-law Estelle St. Amand, wife of his brother Carleton St. Amand who passed away in June.He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. He is predeceased by a nephew Mark St. Amand.

He was born in Worcester son of Edmond J. and Alma (Clark) St. Amand. Gordon graduated from the former Commerce High School where he played baseball, football and basketball winning many awards. He also received art scholarships and art certificate of merit awards while in high school. He graduated from the former Art Institute of Boston.

He was a graphic artist and worked at several agencies in Boston. He later worked at Wright Machine Co. and Hillhaven Corporation from where he retired due to illness. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a very creative and talented artist.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 27 from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Funeral services are being held privately with burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
