Rosemarie (Faretra) Chiuve, a 30 year resident of Stoneham and former 24 year resident of Melrose, died on Monday, September 24, 2007, at Winchester Hospital following a brief illness. She was 77 years old.
Rosemarie was born in Boston on January 19, 1930. She grew up in East Boston where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from East Boston High School in 1947. Rosemarie has been a homemaker most of her adult life catering to the needs of her husband and 2 sons. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, bowling, playing scrabble and most of all she enjoyed taking a trip to Foxwoods Casino once a week. Rosemarie had a passion for dancing especially with her beloved husband whenever the oppurtunity was there.
Rosemarie is the beloved wife of 55 years to Alfred "Fred" Chiuve. She is the devoted mother of Donald Chiuve and his wife Reese of Stoneham, Frederick Chiuve and his wife Carol of Lynnfield and the late Julieanne Chiuve. She is the loving grandmother of Michael, Janelle, Eric and Charesse Chiuve. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Rosemarie's Funeral will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007, at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Melrose, at Wakefield line followed by her Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, Wakefield, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Rosemarie will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
