Denis L. Bourque, age 55, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 22 at Winchester Hospital. He was the husband of the late Karen P. (Kelley) Bourque who died in 1989.
He was born in Lowell, August 8, 1952 the son of the late Paul and Rita (Lanier) Bourque. Mr. Bourque resided in Lowell and was a communicant of St. Patricks Church.
He was currently employed as a construction supervisor with Ted's Construction in Dracut for 13 years and previously with Compo Corporation of Lowell as a laminator for 15 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bourque and Kelly Bourque, both of Lowell; two sons SSG Denis Bourque and his wife, Christine stationed in N. Carolina and Derek Bourque of Lowell; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cecile and Henry Perron of Dracut, Debbie Cortes, Pauline and Robert Balakin, and Denise Rodriguez, all of Lowell; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Raymond Bourque of New Hampshire, Paul and Bernie Bourque of Dracut and Robert and Debbie Bourque of Lowell; four grandchildren, Devin, Kaylee, Tyler and Kyle; his longtime companion, Ellen Werner of Lowell; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Donald and Roger Bourque.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Thursday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 o'clock St. Patrick's Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
