Anne H. Dutka, 99, of Olyphant, died Sunday in the AseraCare Hospice Unit at Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville.
Born in Blakely, daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Helinski Dutka, she was a lifelong resident of Olyphant and was educated in Olyphant schools. She worked for many years in the garment industry in her hometown. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church and its Sodality. She was a wonderful aunt.
Surviving are a sister, Veronica Dutka Jezuit, a lifelong resident of Olyphant and currently a resident of the Dunmore Health Care Center; a brother Stephen Dutka, Lake Ariel; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Peter, John, Joseph and Frank Dutka; and a sister, Helen Dutka Powell.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant, with the Rev. Thomas Muldowney officiating. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Olyphant.
