MARBLEHEAD - M. Dorothy Buckley, 98, of Marblehead, formerly of Salem, died Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Lafayette Convalescent Home, Marblehead. She was the wife of the late Augustus Buckley.
Born in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of the late Delbert & Margaret (Finney) Jones.
Mrs. Buckley was raised and educated in Salem, and moved to Detroit in the mid 1950's where she resided for over 20 years. After the death of her husband, she returned to Massachusetts, living first in Essex, then in Ipswich before moving to Marblehead in 1997.
She is survived by three niece, Mrs. John (Audrey) Tirrell of Marblehead and Mary Byington and Rose Buckley, both of New Baltimore, Michigan. She was the sister of the late C. Marguerite Tracey.
A committal service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 12 pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
