Obituary

Olivica O. Santos, 89 of Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, died Monday at Hospice St. Antoine. She was the wife of the late John M. Santos.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Paquin) Bacon.
She lived most of her life in Woonsocket before moving to Tucson, Arizona, in 1962. She resided in Arizona for 39 years until she returned to Woonsocket in 2001.
Mrs. Santos worked for various textile companies in the Woonsocket area before moving to Arizona. While living in Arizona she worked as a real estate agent for Century 21.
Olivica enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and spending time with friends. She was also a world traveler.
She is survived by a sister, Annette Roy, of Worcester, several nieces and nephews, Carol Ann Charette, of Woonsocket, Mary Ann Joyal, of North Smithfield, George R. Charette, of Chepachet, Dennis Roy, of Worcester, Rachael Anderson, of Worcester, Guy Bacon, of Douglas, and Gail Bacon of California, and many grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lawrence and Wilfred Bacon, and Yvette Charette, and aunt of the late Richard A. Charette.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Holy Hope Cemetery, Tucson, AZ. Visiting hours are Thursday from 8:30 – 10:00 am prior to Mass. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
