Maria C. (DiMascio) DiMichele, died Saturday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 75.
Born and raised in Sulmona, Italy she and her family came to the United States and settled
In Boston’s North End. A dedicated wife and mother Maria has lived in Medford for the past 30 years.
She was the beloved wife of Luigi “Gino” DiMichele. She was a devoted mother to Josephine Ciardiello and her husband Joseph of Ipswich and Angelo DiMichele of Everett. She was the beloved daughter of the late Giuseppe and Assunta (DiPlacido) DiMascio. She was the dear sister of Anna Federico and her husband Joseph of Westwood, Elena Poles and her husband Sergio of Dedham, and the late Pasquale DiMascio formerly of Dedham. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family, Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
