Helen Misiura, of Olyphant, died Thursday at home. She was the widow of Stanley Misiura, who died June 25, 2001.
Born in Olyphant on June 11, 1908, daughter of the late Stephen and Susan Cajgovics Pirhalla, she was a member of Holy Ghost Church, Olyphant.
Surviving are a daughter, Helen “Susie” Weller; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; three sisters-in-law, Marian Banko, Scranton; Mildred Misiura, Clarks Summit; and Barbara Borys, Michigan; and a brother-in-law, Edward Misiura, New Jersey.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley S. Misiura Jr. and his wife, Josephine; two brothers, George and Joseph Pirhalla; and five sisters, Julia Poklemba, Anna Antol, Mary Straka, Clara Delnicki and Jean Lenick.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in Holy Ghost Church, Willow Street, Olyphant. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery, Olyphant.
