Obituary

WORCESTER___Irene M. (Rochette) Perro, 87, of 700 Grafton Street, died Friday September 21, 2007 in her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Perro.

She leaves a daughter, Judy M. Perro and a granddaughter, Laurie A. Perro, with whom she lived and who were her caregivers, she leaves a son, Wilfred “Fred” Perron of Easton, N.H., a sister, Anna White of Milford, Ct., nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Lois I. Trzcinski died in 1997. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, Edmund, Armand and Albert Rochette, Violet LaJoie and Alice Goodwin. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Rosario and Minnie P. (Frappier) Rochette and has lived here all her life.
Mrs. Perro worked with her late husband in the Antiques business for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church and was a graduate of Commerce High School. She volunteered with the Civil Defense program during World War II. Irene loved being with her family spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and crafts.
The funeral will be held on Monday September 24 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Monday September 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
