POWERS, Milton E.- Of Chelsea, formerly of Boston, September 16th. Son of the late C. Edward and Gertrude (French) Powers. Dear friend and godfather of George Assard of Stoneham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning, September 24th at 11 AM in St. Michael the Archangel Chapel on the grounds of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, 91 Crest Avenue, CHELSEA. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass beginning at 10 AM in the Cardinal Cushing Pavilion. Services will conclude with interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM.
Born in Boston and a resident of the Chelsea Soldiers Home since 1995, Milton passed away at the Brockton Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness.
