Obituary

Richard Marini, 68, of Manchester, NH and a former resident of Derry, NH died September 15, 2007 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Haverhill, MA on February 15, 1939, a son of Helen (Rice DiVincenzo) and the late Marino Marini.
Raised in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School. He lived In Derry for many years and was a resident of Manchester for the past 11 years. Mr. Marini was a long time employee of Continental Can Company and was currently employed at OSRAM-Sylvania. He was a former candlepin bowling champion and had pitched softball in several area leagues for many years. Richard enjoyed deep-sea fishing and was known as a friend by many.

He is survived by three daughters, Sherry Ferronetti of Newton, NH, Rene Biggart of Haverhill, MA and Laina Connolly of Manchester; six sons, Michael Marini and Richard Marini, both of Kingston, NH, Greg Marini and Keith Marini, both of Haverhill, MA, Edward Marini of New Mexico and Douglas Floyd of Jacksonville, FL; 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; his mother Helen DiVincenzo of Haverhill; two sisters, Nancy Bousnakis of Bradford, MA and Sheila Burris of Salem, NH; his longtime companion, Gaye Yanuszewski; and also by many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
