Janiece W. (Caldwell) Roth of Needham died on Wednesday, September 19th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Roth was a resident of Needham for over 50 years. She enjoyed painting. Mrs. Roth will be remembered for her devotion to her family. She was especially proud of and enjoyed being a ministers wife. The beloved wife of Rev. Taylor E. Roth, she was the loving mother of Diane Sayman and her husband Bill of Needham and Christopher W. Whitney and his wife Jeanne of Needham and the late Mark C. Whitney. Step mother of Martha Kovat and her husband Peter of Sharon, Deborah Margarite and her husband Steve of Easton, Taylor Roth Jr. and his wife Eileen of Braintree and Mary Guiles of Walpole. Sister of Howard Caldwell and his wife Joyce of Lee's Summit,MO and the late Bernard Caldwell. Dear grandmother of Scott, Steven, Whitney and Jeffrey Sayman, Ashley and Emily Whitney, all of Needham and step grandmother of Zachary Kovat of Sharon, Michael, Nicholas and Alexander Margarite of Easton. A Funeral Service will be held at the Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Ave. on Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 PM Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday from 4-8 PM. Interment at Needham Cemetery.
