Palma Raymond, age 80 of New Milford, formerly of Union City, NJ, died Tuesday September 18, 2007. Beloved husband of Marjory (nee Crawford). Devoted father of Raymond William and his wife Lori, John and his wife Maria, Patricia Pelican and her husband Richard, Barbara Freirich and her husband Larry. Loving Grandfather of Katharine, Alexandra, Ricky, Chris, Emily, James, Colin and Jack. Raymond served his country with the US Merchant Marines from 1945 – 1947. He had a distinguished career with the New Jersey State Police for 19 years and then entered the private sector. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday September 22nd, 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s RCC, Oradell, NJ. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends and family are invited to visit Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell on Friday, September 21, 2007, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
