Obituary

Clarence Franklin “Buddy” Wynn, Jr., 65, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, September 18, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, September 21, 2007, at Union Primitive Baptist Church in Coffee County, with Elder Philip Smith, Elder Edward McIntyre and Elder Chad O’Quinn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Wynn was born December 22, 1941 in Appling County, to the late Clarence F. and Beatrice Fowler Wynn. He lived in the Fitzgerald community most of his life. Mr. Wynn was an electrician for Wynn Electric for many years and was currently working for MDI. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era. Mr. Wynn attended Union Primitive Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved gardening.

Mr. Wynn is survived by his wife of 43 years, Helen Daniel Wynn of Fitzgerald; brothers & sisters-in-law, Vance & Frances Wynn of Lake City, FL, Billy & Linda Wynn of Alma, Tommy & Mary Wynn and David & Emily Wynn, all of Fitzgerald and Mike Wynn of Indian Trail, NC; sisters & brothers-in-law, Inez & Don Hood of Waxhaw, NC, Anne & Jimmy White of Blakely, Seleta & Mario DeAngelis of Acworth and Sara & Billy Schell of Fitzgerald; mother-in-law, Myrtice Tucker Daniel of Ocilla; brother-in-law, Ron Daniel of Tifton; sister-in-law and husband, Alicia & Ed Cockman of Valdosta; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and Uncle Alvin Wynn of Fitzgerald.
