Alma M. Levesque, 89, of Cocoa, FL, died Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Titusville, FL. Mrs. Levesque was born in Nashua, NH on February 1, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alma (Paul) Gendron. She was a resident of Cocoa for the past ten years, formerly living in Derry, NH for many years. She was employed as a shoeworker for Klev-Bro. Shoe Co. in Derry for many years. While living in Cocoa, she was a communicant of Blessed Sacrement Church, and was also a former communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Green of Cocoa; two sons, Henry Levesque of DeBary, FL, and Arthur Levesque of Manchester, NH; eight grandchildren, Deborah Wehman of Albermarle, NC, Scott Gero of Phoenix, AZ, Christen Crocker of Atlanta, GA, Brian Levesque, Lori Ste. Marie, Shawn Levesque, Justin Levesque, and Jessie Levesque all of Manchester; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Cecile Martin of Merrimack, NH; and one brother, Leo Gendron of Nashua, NH. She was predeceased by her husband Henry G. Levesque who died in 1982 and her son Albert P. Levesque who died in 1991.
Calling hours were on Monday, September 24th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710.
